[DRAFT] Olan Law Firm is led by attorney Shih-Ya (Tanya) Huang, who is admitted to practice in Taiwan, California, and Washington. She has worked at an international law firm, U.S. law firms, and the in-house legal team of an e-commerce platform, and is familiar with legal practice and business operations in both Taiwan and the U.S.

Our main practice areas are data privacy and protection, technology law, intellectual property, contract review and drafting, civil and commercial litigation, and cross-border matters between Taiwan and the U.S. We work with startups, small and medium-sized businesses, and individuals.

[DRAFT — please review] Admitted to practice in Taiwan, California, and Washington, Tanya holds two Master of Laws degrees, from National Taiwan University and the University of California, Berkeley, and has more than seven years of experience in both Taiwan and the U.S.

At Baker McKenzie in Taipei, she advised multinational technology and retail companies on cross-border data transfers, privacy policies, and data protection compliance, as well as advertising, fair trade, consumer protection, trade secrets, and product labeling and inspection requirements. She also handled consumer disputes, IP infringement, and commercial litigation.

In the U.S., she advised Silicon Valley startups on corporate transactions and investment structures, and handled civil litigation in California state and federal courts. Back in Taiwan, she joined Shopee Taiwan's legal team, working on employment law compliance, regulatory reviews of new products and AI features, and the drafting and negotiation of manufacturing, supply chain, and license agreements.
